Verifications Tab Enhancements
There is a new banner displayed, with the words "ID-verified" in bright green font, which is an improvement from the small check mark that was previously used. Additionally, any attempts to verify the ID will be collapsed in a stylized manner, allowing the user to expand the most recent verification attempt to either understand it or see if it was denied. If the ID cannot be verified, a red banner will appear, and the user can collapse each verification attempt to understand what happened.
Non-Employment Income from Argyle
When someone links their credentials, they may provide Social Security benefits as an example of their income. This income can be linked through Argyle, even if the person is not currently employed. To improve our business audit, we have enhanced our backend services income and employment service. This means that we will not list any employment entries if a person links their Social Security benefits, but we will still show the income as seen in the screenshot below. The income stream will have a new label type called "benefits" to clarify to the leasing agent that the person is not currently employed. Our goal is to ensure that people can still get apartments while highlighting that they receive regular payments over time.
Argyle Paystubs Data
Since Aug 30…
Our recent analysis of paystub data has yielded some exciting results. We are pleased to report a significant increase in median annual income. This is a clear indication of our accurate identification of income, a feat we have accomplished by leveraging Argyle. As a result of this enhancement, we have achieved an average accuracy rate that is 36% higher than our previous achievement, which is a remarkable improvement.
Google Maps Address Validation
As part of our renter experience, we have introduced a convenient update. This feature utilizes the Google Maps API to enable users to easily complete their address during the rental profile step. Users can search for their address, and select a matching entry, and the remaining fields will be automatically filled in. Please note, that this feature currently supports U.S. addresses only.
Alphabetized Lists in the Manager Portal
We have improved user experience by implementing alphabetized lists for the property drop-down and application status. This makes it easier for users to locate and select specific items, as they are organized in a logical order.
Lumen Formula Editor
We made a minor modification to the lumen formula editor to improve clarity for the end user. We now highlight both the applicant and guarantors' cash balances, which helps to make it clear that we are combining the finances in the first option. Previously, we referenced ratios which made it less obvious how the finances were being combined for that particular setting.

Deal Summary/Balances card tooltip
We have updated the income-to-rent ratio tooltip by removing the word "verified". Upon further review, we realized that we are actually using stated income instead of verified income. Therefore, we want to accurately reflect this on the front end. Additionally, we have made changes to the balances card tooltip. Specifically, the cash runway value now updates after editing the monthly rent.
Evictions Records
We have made some changes to the display of information here. We have removed the total count of records that are shown in the summary box and tooltip on the eviction card. Moreover, we have updated the judgment label to include the court-reported amount with an asterisk. We have also added an explanation of what this means, which is now displayed as helper text on the page. You can view an example of this in the screenshot below.
Income Card
We have made some updates to the data to help alleviate confusion about the Lumen formula used in a particular deal or application. Previously, there was no context provided about the type of income the formula was evaluating, which made it unclear for managers. To address this, we added a new tooltip within the income box that explains what the Lumen formula is evaluating. This change aims to provide more context for end users, so they can understand exactly what the formula is looking at.
