Welcome to the training guide for our rental application platform's newly enhanced Income & Balances tab. This document provides a comprehensive overview of the new features designed to help leasing managers assess an applicant's financial health.
Overview of New Features
Interactive Income Tracking Graph
Provides a visual representation of an applicant's income trends over the past 12 months.
Enhanced Layout & Design
Payments Table Display: Directly view and access individual payments linked to employers, payroll, or benefits providers.
Document Uploads Display: Uploaded documents are scanned and displayed with key income data extracted for easy review. Original documents can be accessed with a single click.
Verified vs. Unverified Income
Provides clarity on which income sources are considered in the total verified amount and which are excluded. If they are excluded, we'll tell you why that particular income stream was not considered verified.
Navigating the New Income & Balances Layout
Accessing the Income & Balances Tab:
Log into your VERO manager portal.
Select the desired applicant to view their details.
Click on the ‘Income & Balances’ tab to access the new functionalities.
Verified Income Steams and Financial Documents:
View Recent Payments
Click on the arrow on the right side of any income stream to expand and view more details.
View Original Payroll Documents

On the right side of the table, click "View" to access the original document from the provider.
NOTE: This will also be the original uploaded document from the applicant if they have chosen to upload OCR documents.
Verified Balances Section
We’ve enhanced the display of total available assets, making it larger and more prominent for easier viewing.
Understanding Verified vs. Unverified Income:
Take a look at the breakdowns under the 'Verified Income' and 'Unverified Income' This section helps you identify why specific income streams were not considered verified. Leveraging these insights, you can confidently answer questions from applicants about their income verification results.
View Exclusion Reasons & Recent Pay Dates
Click the dropdown arrow on the right side of an excluded stream to show or hide the reason(s).
