What is a magic link?
A magic link is a self-embeddable link for you to use behind your own property marketing websites, advertisements, chatbots, etc to drive more applicants to apply. This link can be set up as a company application link, property application link, or even a unit-level link. Aside from that, VERO offers a specific “agent” level link that is tied to them when the link is clicked on and the application is submitted. This can be extremely useful for agents to meet their internal goals by inviting applicants via their own agent-level link.
Magic links are available via URL or QR code. These can be embedded anywhere that you want to reach applicants. For instance, you are showing a specific unit to a potential resident. Simply click share then via QR Code to download. You can then print and hang the document on the refrigerator in the unit so the person can scan it and begin the application process right away.
What is a magic portal?
A magic portal is the extension of the magic link component. Thus, the magic portal uses the same embeddable link, but it takes a different approach by offering more of a dynamic, unit availability portal allowing potential residents to select the specific unit before they start the application process. We have dedicated magic portal URLs so that you can utilize these within your own internal tools, and systems that focus more on advertisement and marketing efforts. A magic portal exists at the company level or property. Today, we do not offer agent-specific magic portal links nor do we offer unit-specific magic portal links.

Company vs Property level magic portals.
A company magic portal will display all properties that have been enabled to be displayed on the portal. The end user will be able to view high-level details over the property with the option to view unit availability or apply directly to that property. Not all properties will have units available to apply for thus, they will get redirected straight to the application process.
A property magic portal will display all units that have been enabled to be displayed for the specific property selected. The user will be able to view a few minor but valuable data points on each unit that is available to apply for.
