Log In and Create your VERO Account

This article reviews how to create your account, set your password, get logged in to your account and application, and reset a password.

Your VERO account allows you to complete applications for properties using the VERO application workflow and manage your user information.

In order to create a VERO account, you must be invited to apply to a unit by being redirected from a property's website or through direct invitation from your leasing team or member of your application group.

Start your VERO Application and Create Account

Whether you've been invited directly or are redirected to create an account from a property's website, you'll receive an email to either start or continue your application, depending on where you are in the property's overall application process.

The email to apply will come from no-reply@mail.sayvero.com.

If you don't receive the invitation in your inbox after a few moments, check your spam inbox or trash folder and ensure your email address was spelled correctly.

Next, click the button in the email to load your invitation:

Enter your email address and set a password following the requirements on the screen.

If you already have a VERO account using this email address you'll be prompted to enter your existing password to log in.

Note: You must use the email address used to create your invitation to apply in VERO.

Once you've set your password, you'll then automatically progress through to the steps of the application. If you're not able to complete your application in one setting, you can always log in again to pick up where you left off.


How to Log In to your Existing Application or VERO Account

Follow the steps below to log in to an existing application, complete an in progress application, or review your VERO account and submitted applications.

Complete an In Progress Application

If you weren't able to complete your application after setting your password, you can log in to finish the application two ways: direct account URL log in or using the invitation email.

Direct Log in to your Account and Application:

Use this method to log in to your VERO account and manage your application that is in progress.

    1. (We recommend Google Chrome for the best user experience)

  1. Enter the email address that you used when you created your VERO account

  2. Enter the password you previously set

  3. Select the SIGN IN button to log in.

  4. Click the Complete button on the application you wish to complete on the My Applications page

Log in via Invitation Email:

You can use the invitation email to gain access to your application at any point. However please note that when logging in this way, you will be directed to the specific application step you are in progress with rather than your profile.

  1. Locate your Invitation email from VERO and click the Apply or Get Verified button

  2. Confirm your email address is correct and enter your password set when you created your account.

  3. Click the SIGN IN button to log in.

  4. Click the Get Started button once you've been logged in to your in progress application.

Note: If you have previously used the 'Sign In With Google' option at any point to log in to VERO, you will need to use this option each time you sign into your application moving forward. Make sure you are signed into the correct Google account on your browser when selecting this option.



How to Reset Your Password

If you're having trouble logging in or have forgotten your password from when you originally created your account, you can reset your password to regain access to your account.

  1. Visit https://renter.sayvero.com/login and enter the email address that you used to receive your application invite.

  2. Select the 'Forgot Password?' button

  3. Select 'SEND RECOVERY CODE'. You will receive an email with a password reset recovery code.

    1. Please not it may take a few moments to receive this code. Check your spam box and ensure your email address was entered correctly if you do not receive it shortly.

  4. Once you receive the code, select 'I HAVE A RECOVERY CODE' and enter the code that was sent to your email.​


  5. Select 'RESET PASSWORD' and enter your new password. Be sure to choose a password that meets the password requirements.

  6. Click the 'RESET PASSWORD' button to confirm your new password, and then you will be logged into your application!


Trouble Logging In to your Account? ​

If you are having any trouble getting logged into your application, you'll find some common solutions below:

  • Make sure you're using the email address that was used to send your invitation to apply

  • Ensure no spaces are entered at the beginning or end of your email address or password

  • Check your Spam or Trash folder for your invitation email or reset password code

  • Try logging in directly to renter.sayvero.com instead of using the invitation link emailed to you

  • Reset your password to ensure you're using the correct password

  • Clear your browser's cache and cookies by following the instructions for your specific browser here

  • Disable any translation services on your browser or device (i.e. Google Translate), which can cause errors within the VERO application.

  • Confirm whether you used your Google account to sign in by following these instructions from Google to confirm if VERO is using Sign In with Google

    • If you are using Sign In with Google to manage your VERO account, be sure you've given permission to 'See and download your exact date of birth'.

    • If you do not allow this it will route them to an 'Unable to Log In' screen.
