There are times when ID verification will encounter issues such as glare or an expired ID during the applicant workflow. To address this, we have recently updated our identity verification page.
The page now provides clear and separate verification attempts for each ID. Additionally, we have added a verification checklist that shows which items are being verified, including a detailed breakdown of all the checks performed during the identity verification process. This will help you understand which verifications are required and which are not. In the case of an ID verification failure, a reason will be provided, which may be related to a previous attempt. The "potential fraud risk" indicator is present to caution you and make you aware that although the ID was confirmed to be real, there is something that VERO detected that needs to be considered.
