There are two ways an application can be moved to a “canceled” state in VERO:
A user manually cancels the application directly in the VERO platform
A user cancels the guest card in Yardi, which leads to VERO pulling this information from Yardi overriding the status made in VERO
⚠ Users should not take this action directly in Yardi.
In either use case, the end result is a canceled application in VERO and a canceled guest card in Yardi.
Once a guest card is canceled, Yardi’s API does not allow VERO to push a change to the status of that guest card. Therefore, reversing the cancelation in VERO will not reactivate the guest card in Yardi. When an application attached to a canceled guest card is moved out of a canceled state, Yardi will always push the cancelation back to VERO, resulting in the application being canceled again.
In order to avoid this, anytime a cancellation is requested to be reversed, the user must also reactivate the guest card in Yardi. Assuming the guest card has been reactivated, VERO’s support team can reverse cancelation and the active status will hold in VERO, allowing the user to proceed as normal.
