Blocked
If an applicant is blocked, it means your property requires verified income in order to submit an application. VERO will only automatically verify income through the linking of an employer, payroll, or bank account where they receive direct deposits. VERO cannot verify future employment/income or uploaded/attached income documents (pay stubs, bank statements, etc), as those will require manual review.
Unblocked
If an applicant is unblocked, it means that although the property requires income verification to submit, an agent removed that block (unblocked) of the applicant to allow them to upload income-verifying documentation. This is an option when the applicant does not have an employer, bank, or W-2 to link, or they prefer not to share this information.
Note: VERO does NOT unblock applicants! This is completed by an agent/s at the property with the correct permissions.
