In order to complete an application within VERO the applicant must complete all 6 steps before they can submit for review. For those companies having applicants pay fees within VERO, this happens between steps 3 and 4 of the applicant workflow.
A unit is not removed from the market when an applicant starts their application. A unit is only removed from being an active listing once the fees have been paid.
Scenario:
Applicant 1 starts the application process for Unit 101 on Monday but is unable to complete their application at the time and exits before paying their application/administration fees.
Applicant 2 finds Unit 101 when searching on Tuesday of the same week. They proceed to complete all 6 steps of the workflow and submit their application.
On Wednesday, Applicant 1 goes back into the workflow to complete their application, pay fees and submit their application.
Now the leasing agent gets a notification that there are 2 separate applicants for Unit 101.
Solution:
The company's policy determines what action will take place next.
Applicant 2 can be moved to a different available unit within VERO by following the steps listed below.
In the right-hand corner of your screen, click on the ellipsis

Click Change Unit
Select the property and the Unit to assign the applicant to and click ASSIGN TO UNIT
