When viewing an application within the manager portal, there is an indicator labeled 'CURRENT STEP:' Next to this indicator in a bold font you will see the label for the current step the applicant is in. Below is the flow of those labels as well as an explanation for each.
ACCEPT INVITATION:
This is the indicator that an applicant has been sent an invite from an agent. The applicant must click on the link within their email to begin the application process.
SELECT TYPE:
The next label that will be shown once the applicant has accepted the invitation and begun the application process is 'SELECT TYPE:' This label indicates the applicant is either actively at this step in the process or has left off here to return at a later time. This is where the applicant selects what best describes their status for the application (Applicant, Guarantor, Occupant, etc.)
CONFIRM GROUP:
This label indicates the applicant is still within step 1 of the applicant workflow. The applicant has the option to invite another applicant, invite an occupant, or guarantor, or continue without any others.
SNAP:
This label indicates the ID Verification portion of the applicant workflow or Step 2. Within this step, the applicant will verify their ID by either taking a picture of their photo ID or uploading it. This is also where the facial recognition portion of the application takes place. This is better known as the "Selfie Step".
LYNK:
After the applicant has completed the ID Verification step of the applicant workflow, they are next asked to "LYNK" to their employer or payroll provider. This label indicates the applicant is currently within this portion of the applicant workflow. By connecting to their employer or payroll provider, the applicant is giving top-tier information about their income and benefits.
RENTER PROFILE:
When an applicant links their employer or payroll provider, a portion of their information is pulled directly from that source. However, there is still some information needed to fill in their Renter Profile. This label indicates the applicant is still completing this portion of the applicant workflow better known as Step 3.
INCOME AND BALANCES:
Within this step, the applicant has the ability to connect to their bank account/s and keep control of their personal data. The applicant will search and locate their bank/credit union's name and login using their online banking credentials. This allows the applicant to show a one-time snap of their income and balances acknowledging their assets in order to put their best self forward for the agent's review.
ATTACH DOCUMENTS:
The final step of the applicant workflow is the Attach Document step. This label indicates the applicant is either still in the attachments section or they have paused their application. If an applicant was unable to connect their employer or payroll provider, they may upload documentation showing proof of employment within this step. This is also where any required documents from the property would be posted and required to either upload or indicate not having the document.
APPLICANT:
Once an applicant has completed all the steps of the workflow, the indication below will appear under their name showing them as an applicant and no longer CURRENT STEP: status.
