Overview
Managing deals and documents efficiently is essential when using VERO to streamline your leasing process. One common task is downloading the PDF for a deal, whether for review, record-keeping, or sharing purposes.
Below is a step-by-step guide on how to download the PDF of a deal on the VERO platform. There are times when you may not be able to download the PDF and this will be discussed in this article as well.
How to download the Application package PDF
Once you have opened the desired deal, you will see the deal's details, showing all pertinent information like status, applicant data, and key actions.
Locate the PDF icon at the top of right of the page
Click the "Download PDF" button. This will start the download of the file. The PDF file may include documents such as the completed application, pre-qualification summary etc.
Depending on your browser settings, the PDF will either automatically download to your device or prompt you to choose a download location. Ensure your browser allows pop-ups or downloads to avoid interruptions.
Verify that the document has successfully downloaded by checking your Downloads folder or designated save location.
Open and Save the Document. Once downloaded, you can open the PDF using any compatible PDF viewer (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Preview on Mac).

If you encounter any difficulties when attempting to download a PDF, try the following:
Refresh the Page: Close and reopen the deal details page.
Check Permissions: Ensure your VERO account has the correct permissions to access and download deal documents.

How to resolve this issue:
Open the corrupted file on your computer and re-export it as a PDF. Re-upload it, and confirm the error is still gone.
Re-upload all of the other attachments. To be safe, you could also re-export these as PDFs to ensure there wasn't more than one corrupted file.
Why is only one page of the application package is downloading?
When a deal is approved, two types of PDFs are generated:
Deal-Level PDF: This is the first page of the document package.
Application-Level PDF: These are the remaining pages that make up the full package.
These PDFs are generated asynchronously, meaning they aren’t always ready at the same time. When clicking "Download PDF" shortly after approval, you may receive only the deal-level PDF (the first page) if the application-level PDF isn’t ready yet.
How to resolve this issue:
Try waiting a few minutes before attempting to download the PDF again. If the issue persists, please don’t hesitate to reach out to support for assistance.
