Overview
This article explains the difference between a "Deal" and an "Application" in the manager portal. When navigating the manager portal, it is key to know the difference between a Deal and an Application.
You may see Deal and Application used interchangeably throughout the VERO Platform, or even in conversation with other team members and support. However it is important to know these are referencing two different items.
A Deal is the whole application group, which can include one or more applications for a specific unit.
An Application refers to the individual applicant, aka a person/renter.
Another way to think about it is that a Deal is is made up of Applications.
Deal Overview
Deals are listed under the "Applications" Section of the Manager portal. You'll first be able to see a list of deals that can be clicked into for review.
Clicking into a deal, users can review the group application. This is known as the Deal Summary.
Some ways to know you're looking at a deal are:
The page navigation at the top will be pointing back to the "APPLICATIONS" tab, which lists all deals

The URL will be formatted as www.manager.sayvero.com/deals/###### with the #s being numbers representing the deal id.
EX: manager.sayvero.com/deals/13876 with 13875 being the deal id.
The Deal ID is unique to every deal and is located here in the URL
VERO Support will ask for the deal ID to help with troubleshooting.

Application Overview
Clicking on an individual's name while in the Deal Summary will bring you to the individual's Application Summary, which is comprised of their entire Renter Profile.
Some ways to know you're looking at an application, or Renter Profile, are:
The page navigation at the top will be pointing back to the Unit # Application page, which will return to the deal for that unit where this applicant applied.

The URL will be formatted as www.manager.sayvero.com/applications/###### with the #s being numbers representing the application id.
EX: manager.sayvero.com/applications/13115 with 13115 being the application id.
The Application ID is unique to every application on each deal and is located here in the URL
A renter with an application on multiple deals with have a unique application id for their specific application per deal.
