The property you're applying to may have a feature called VEROLynk, which is a fast and secure way for you to connect directly with your employer, payroll, or benefits accounts in order to demonstrate verified income. This gives you full control over the income data you share with the leasing team to build a strong rental application.

In this article, we'll review how to connect to your accounts, how to disconnect, and how to proceed in the event your provider is not available for direct connection.

How to Connect Payroll or Employer Accounts:

This step is called Add Income, shown at the top of your workflow, and enables you to connect your payroll, employer, or benefits accounts.

When you land on this page, click the purple Start button at the bottom. This will load the service that allows you to search for an connect your payroll accounts, show below.

You can search through the Popular, Employer, Benefits, and Payroll Sections for the account you wish to connect, or you can search directly in the search bar.

Once you've found your provider, you'll be prompted to enter your account credentials, shown below.

Depending on how your payroll or employer account is set up, you may need to complete authentication steps in addition to entering your credentials.

Once connected, you'll hit Done and your connected account will insert your income information directly from the information provided by your employer account.

You can click the Add Income again to connect additional accounts or revoke access to the account connected.

I don't see my payroll provider or employer

You can search for your payroll provider in the search bar at the top of the popup. If you cannot find your employer or payroll provider, they may not be integrated.

If that's the case, you can click the "x" at the top corner of the popup in order to leave the Add Income pop up and continue on to the Add Accounts step, shown below:

When you load the Add Accounts step, this will launch a connection that allows you to provide verified income through a linked bank account. More information on this can be found here.

I want to connect additional payroll, employer, or benefits accounts

If you added one account you can select additional accounts to connect with by clicking Connect More Accounts right after you logged into your initial one. If you've already exited out, you can add more accounts by clicking the Add Income button displayed under the existing connected account pay data.

I want to disconnect my accounts

VERO gives you full control over the information you share in your application, and you can disconnect your accounts at any time while your application is in progress. To do this, navigate back to the Add Income step and click the Add Income button to relaunch the popup. From here you can navigate to your connected accounts and revoke access, shown below:

Even while knowing that these connections are secure and safe, you may still wish to not connect directly to your accounts.

Some properties require a linked account of some kind as part of their income verification process. Skipping this step may not meet their application requirements.

If you're not sure, ask your leasing agent for confirmation on their requirements.

If that's the case, you can click the "x" at the top corner of the popup in order to leave the Add Income pop up and continue on by clicking the purple Add Accounts step, shown below:
