VERO currently does not accept international addresses when completing an application. However, you can still proceed through the application process by using the workarounds outlined below. Scroll down to the scenario that best describes your situation:

Your current address is a non-US address and you do not have an SSN/ITIN:

  1. Enter the street address as normally. This would be your house number and street name.

  2. Enter New York as the city

  3. New York as the state

  4. 10001 as the ZipCode.

  5. Select "I don't have an SSN/ITIN" when prompted to begin the Background & Credit Check.

Be sure to inform you leasing agent of the modification to your non-US address in VERO. They may require additional information from you regarding the complete address to ensure it is documented properly on you application.

Your current address is a non-US address and you do have an SSN/ITIN:

  1. Enter the US-based address associated with your SSN/ITIN or line of credit as your current address in your Residential History

  2. If you do not have a US-based address associated with your SSN/ITIN, enter your international addresses as follows:

    1. Enter the street address for your international address

    2. Enter New York as the city

    3. Enter New York as the state

    4. Enter 1001 as the Zip Code

  3. Enter your SSN/ITIN when prompted.

Depending on the background and credit history available and the Credit Reporting Agency utilized by the property, you may be requested to manually verify your identity with the credit & background check provider. You can review details on that process here.

If you receive the error "Error Generating Report" please follow the troubleshooting steps here or reach out to VERO Support using the chat widget in the bottom right of your page!
