Accessing and Understanding Document Fraud Signals

Access and understand fraud signals in rental applications via the Income & Balances tab for informed and efficient decision-making.

Overview:

This guide will help you navigate, view, and understand the fraud signal results for rental applicants in the updated interface. Previously, fraud signals were located in the Attachments section of the application.

To improve efficiency and reduce navigation overhead, we have moved them to a more accessible location within the application. The Income & Balances Tab.

Steps to Access and View Fraud Signal Results

1. Navigate to an Application:

• Log in to your account and go to the list of applications.

• Select the application you wish to review.

2. View the “Income & Balances” Tab:

• Once inside the selected application:

Click on either of the Income & Balances card within the summary view

Or....

Click on any card to view the individual application sections, and navigate to the Income & Balances tab

3. Locate the Excluded Income Section:

• Scroll down to the “Excluded Income Section” within the “Income & Balances” tab.

• Here, you will find a list of income streams that have been excluded from the applicant’s projected annual income calculation.

4. View Excluded Income Stream Details:

• Identify the excluded income stream that you want to review.

• Click on the row to expand it. This will reveal additional details about the income stream, including a list of recent pay dates.

5. View Fraud Signals:

• In the expanded view, look for fraud signals associated with the discarded income stream.

• These fraud signals will provide insights into any discrepancies or issues identified in the income documentation.

6. View Fraud Signal Visualizations:

• If a fraud visualization is available, you can click on the link that appears in this field and a PDF will open in a new tab.
